A little bit about the girl behind the flowers..

My name is Laura, the owner of Charles and Faye, and I have been in the floristry industry for over 10 years now. I'm a sucker for good food, I absolutely love travelling and I adore animals (especially Maisie.. my frenchie) and I obviously love flowers (Gloriosa is my favourite).

I have been in the floristry industry since starting floristry college in 2006, and that was when I fell in love with flowers. I have worked in various Florists over the years, while building Charles & Faye.

I got married in 2018 to my amazing Husband, at a stunning tipi venue in the Cotswolds (will shout out all our amazing suppliers later). Our wedding then got featured in 'You and your wedding magazine' which we were so over the moon about.

A question I get asked a lot is what was the inspiration behind the name. Choosing a business name is a big thing, and after a lot of name options, this was my favourite. Charles and Faye is actually mine and my Husbands middle names.

I just LOVE flowers, and I love my job and all things weddings!! I love working with my Bride's and Groom's to create something special and unique for their wedding day, and hearing all about their wedding plans. Each wedding is totally different, which is what I love, whether its a Manor house, Tipi, or barn wedding not any two are the same.

Wedding flowers are where my passion lies and helping each Bride and Groom to fulfil their dreams with their wedding flowers is such a lovely privilege.

I could not recommend Laura enough. She was amazing throughout the whole process. I didn't have an awful lot of knowledge about flowers so it was quite difficult for me to decide what I wanted. Laura took the time go through the different types of flowers, different arrangements and made some really good recommendations on what would look lovely. What Laura created was exactly what I had in mind and I was blown away when I saw the bouquets and arrangements on the day. Absolutely stunning. Laura I cannot thank you enough!
